Bought a house w/a pool that is a sand filter. Hubby takes polaris out of pool and I just went to put it back into the pool to vaccum the bottom and it just sits there. I made sure the baskets are clean and it's on filter, but, still nothing. There's nothing clogging the polaris on the bottom that I can tell. Please help...never had a sand filter or a polaris before.

Our Polaris pool cleaner keeps falling on its side. The pump works great, but we can't seem to "balance" the actual unit. Any suggestions? Thanks.
